Joey Lynn King is an American Actress. She was born on born July 30, 1999, in Los Angeles, California, U.S. She has since gained wider recognition for her lead role in The Kissing Booth (2018) and its 2020 sequel. She was first recognized in the comedy film Ramona and Beezus (2010) for portraying Ramona Quimby.

Joey King was born in Los Angeles, California. Her parent’s name is Terry King and Jamie King. King has two older sister name, Hunter King and Kelli King. King is half Christian and half Jewish.


King made her film debut as the daughter of character Adam Sandler in Reign Over Me. Then she voiced Katie’s yellow furball in the animated feature Horton Hears a Who! (2008), and Beaver at the Ice Age: Dinosaur Dawn (2009). She was in Quarantine too (2008). She guest-starred in the 2010 Ghost Whisperer movie. She has also been featured in two episodes as Emily Mason in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Other appearances on television include Entourage, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Medium. King’s first leading role was in the 2010 film Ramona and Beezus, an adaptation of the Beverly Cleary book series that starred as Ramona Quimby opposite Selena Gomez as her older sister, Beezus Quimby. She also released a single for the film “Ramona Blue”.

King was featured on Battle: Los Angeles where she played a girl named Kirsten. She co-starred in Crazy, Stupid, Love as Steve Carell’s younger daughter and Julianne Moore also in 2011. She also starred in the “Mean” music video of Taylor Swift as a young girl who was rejected by her peers in the school cafeteria.

In 2016 King was cast as the daughter of Courtney Love’s character in the upcoming drama film The Possibility of Fireflies. In the 2017 horror-thriller film Wish Upon, she played the lead character, Clare. In 2018 she starred alongside Jacob Elordi and Joel Courtney as Elle Evans in Netflix’s teen romantic comedy The Kissing Booth. She reprised the role in The Kissing Booth 2 (2020) sequel and will be in The Kissing Booth 3 (2021) again. King is portrayed by talented agent Dan Spilo who has also competed for Survivor: Island of the Idols. She has more recently signed an agreement with Hulu to produce her television content.


King started dating actor Jacob Elordi. Jacob also appeared on The Kissing Booth Movie Series. The relationship did not last long and they broke up that year.
